About the role
The Chelsea Theater is Orange County’s only nonprofit arthouse theater. For more than thirty years, the Chelsea has presented films that entertain, inspire, and engage.
Responsibilities
- Present repertory and specialty film series
- Host guest speakers
- Collaborate with university and community groups
- Maintain and enhance the theater's facilities
- Manage ticket sales and concessions
- Engage with the local community through outreach programs
Requirements
Experience in theater management, customer service, and event planning is preferred. A passion for cinema and a commitment to community engagement are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in theater, film studies, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of theater operations and best practices
