About the role

The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) seeks a visionary Executive Director to lead the agency serving one of Northern California's fastest-growing regions. Reporting to STA's Board of Directors, the Executive Director will guide a highly collaborative organization, shaping mobility and quality of life for more than 450,000 residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in transportation planning, programming, and project delivery.
• Demonstrate fiscal stewardship and consensus-building across diverse stakeholders.
• Navigate complex political environments with integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s preferred).
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in transportation or a related field.
• At least four years of experience at the director level or equivalent.
