Executive Director
About the role
FIRC is seeking an experienced, community-minded Executive Director to lead one of Summit County’s most trusted community resource organizations. Based in Breckenridge, this role provides strategic leadership for FIRC’s mission, programs, operations, fundraising, finances, and 30-32 person team, while serving as the organization’s primary ambassador and overseeing a $6–7 million annual budget.
The Executive Director will build strong partnerships across the community and advance FIRC’s work in food equity, housing stability, healthcare navigation, parenting support, and other essential services, positioning the organization as a trusted convener in Summit County.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for FIRC’s mission, programs, and operations.
- Oversee fundraising, financial management, and a $6–7 million annual budget.
- Lead and manage a team of 30-32 staff members.
- Serve as the organization’s primary ambassador in the community.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships across Summit County.
- Advance FIRC’s initiatives in food equity, housing stability, healthcare navigation, parenting support, and other essential services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience required.
Pay
$160,000 – $185,000 per year.
