Executive Director
About the role
Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley and Pocono is a nonprofit organization that inspires young people to be joyful, healthy, and confident through fun, experience-based curricula that creatively integrate running. As part of the only national physical activity-based, positive youth development program for girls with an evidence-based curriculum and trained coaches, the council is committed to serving participants from all backgrounds. Programs focus on building social, psychological, and physical skills to help girls navigate real-life situations, including managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others, and making intentional decisions. Each season culminates in a community-impact service project and a celebratory, non-competitive 5K event that reinforces confidence through accomplishment and teamwork.
