Position Summary

The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for providing overall leadership and overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will drive the organization’s programs, ensure the achievement of strategic priorities, and contribute to the organization’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategies to achieve the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Leading and managing the secretariat team and resources, ensuring optimal performance and results.
  • Representing the organization externally and building relationships with stakeholders, partners, and funders.
  • Planning and executing projects to create a cohesive ecosystem experience for members.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the ecosystem, providing support and addressing stakeholder queries.
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate governance and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Initiating, executing, and supporting fundraising and partnership initiatives, including grant management and reporting.
  • Driving business development by identifying opportunities and developing partnership initiatives, programs, and policy proposals.
  • Strengthening connections, knowledge management, and information exchange within the ecosystem.
  • Organizing workshops, meetings, and events with sectorial and industry stakeholders to support the organization’s mission.
  • Developing and managing the organization’s annual budget and programs.
  • Preparing financial reports and maintaining financial records.
  • Implementing talent sourcing, management, and development strategies and processes.
  • Tracking and reporting the organization’s performance and evaluating impact to drive sustainability.
