Executive Director

About the role

The Executive Director will help shape an organization at a pivotal moment while advancing a proven model of care. They will partner with a committed Board and a talented team of staff members to build a strong funding base, expand access to Cooper House's services, and increase visibility for a model of care that truly changes lives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with funders, community partners, and early childhood advocates across the region.
• Lead the organization through change with steadiness and care.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the organization's funding base.
• Expand access to Cooper House's services and increase their reach.
• Increase visibility for the organization's model of care.
• Represent Cooper House externally and internally.

Requirements

• Experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and strategic planning.
• A deep commitment to equity and culturally responsive practice.
• A background in early childhood, mental health, or human services is a plus.
• A belief in the power of early intervention and the ability to inspire others around a shared mission.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a Board of Directors and staff.
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Leadership experience in a non-profit setting.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and grant writing.
• Experience in strategic planning and organizational development.

Benefits

A salary of $190,000 to $220,000 DOE, and a very generous benefits package.
