Responsibilities
- Develops and enhances client and employee relationships.
- Maintains excellent rapport with clients and caregivers and promotes harmonious interpersonal relationships.
- Identifies and solves problems; uses sound judgment to reach quality decisions.
- Evaluates staff performance and maintains awareness of field staff abilities and limitations.
- Assigns duties appropriate to each individual and counsels field staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensures thorough knowledge and adherence to Connect Pediatrics’ policies and procedures.
- Holds nurses accountable for carrying out all non-clinical policies and procedures.
- Actively participates in cost containment and effective utilization of nursing staff.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor in the performance management of nursing staff.
- Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating client services.
- Communicates effectively, expresses ideas clearly, and actively listens.
- Manages staffing to ensure all patients are adequately staffed and labor percentages align with company goals.
- Manages field nurse overtime percentages in line with company goals.
- Hires and trains new operations team members as needed and oversees recruiting efforts.
- Ensures the office meets staffing goals and manages all job postings, updating them weekly.
- Manages involvement in career fairs.
- Leads new patient onboarding, serving as the primary non-clinical contact for new patients and nurses.
- Manages client and employee retention efforts and office relations.
- Ensures timely delivery of nursing supplies, hotspots, Chromebooks, birthday gifts, etc.
- Assists with managing nurse and office employee bonus structures and team-building events.
- Manages new employee onboarding and orientations, including meeting new nurses and conducting orientations as needed.
- Assists in marketing events.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively.
- Sufficient vision or observation capabilities to review materials in electronic or hard copy form.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate a personal computer, telephone, and related equipment.
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to safely lift, move, or maneuver necessary items.
- Ability to function efficiently in a general office environment and travel frequently to various field sites.
- Works primarily in an office environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature conditions.
- Required to visit client homes and may interact with upset staff and/or clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; college degree preferred.
- Business office management and supervisory experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
