About the role
The Columbia Pro Cantare is seeking a new Executive Director. The Executive Director is the chief administrative and operations leader of Columbia Pro Cantare, reporting to the Board of Directors and co-leading the organization with the Artistic Director.
Responsibilities
The Executive Director will determine, oversee, and execute the strategic and operational efficiencies of administrative programs and staff, and serve as a strategic partner with the Artistic Director to energize donors to invest in the Pro Cantare, and engage new and existing audiences, organizational partnerships, and board members.
About the organization
Columbia Pro Cantare is a mixed chorus of 80 auditioned volunteer singers based in Howard County, Maryland, which seeks to present the finest choral literature in concerts of high artistic quality to a growing regional audience. It aspires to provide enriching musical experiences for musicians and non-musicians alike.
Requirements
- Passionately articulate both the benefits and needs of the organization, engaging directly in robust conversations with constituents and stakeholders
- Work closely with the Artistic Director and the broader community to strengthen and grow the organization’s impact and sustainability
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead the organization's administrative and operational efforts, and to work collaboratively with the Artistic Director and the Board of Directors.
Pay
Salary: $15,000.00 - $15,000.00 Annually, Part-time, Exempt
