About the role
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to join us as an Executive Director who holistically operates a Koelsch Community at Arbor Hills memory care. Koelsch Communities is a third‑generation, family‑owned operator of nearly 40 communities across eight states, with over 65 years of senior‑living leadership, striving to create happiness by providing the finest living experiences anywhere. This is a full‑time leadership opportunity with a salaried/exempt position and monthly bonus potential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee community staff and day‑to‑day operations
- Actively manage multiple departments in a professional setting with organizational and management success
- Hire and supervise employees, ensuring adequate staff of quality associates
- Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and staff members
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Leadership is at the core of this role. You have actively managed multiple departments in a professional setting with organizational and management success. You will manage a Senior Living Community effectively and profitably in accordance with company standards and accept responsibility for community operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of related leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid administrator license in states where required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening, and abide by the Drug‑Free Workplace policy
- Ability to gain CPR/First‑Aid certification as needed per company policy and state rules
- Experience in the senior housing industry preferred
