About the role

The Executive Communications Manager - Americas plays a key role as the in-region representative for Corporate Communications for HARTING Technology Group. This role involves acting as the local extension of HQ-based Corporate Communications and in an Executive Communications capacity to support HARTING board members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that articulate the vision and priorities of the CSMO to key audiences including HARTING Technology Group Board members and shareholders, various levels of management, and to the broader employee base
  • Provide strategic narrative support and lead content development for executive presentations and speeches, ensuring executive partners' goals are achieved in key settings (including annual International Management Meeting, annual sales kickoff meetings, etc.)
  • Collaborate with global and regional executive leaders when market research/intelligence findings are required to support strategic narrative presented
  • Support external communications, such as press releases, media statements, personal LinkedIn activity, and thought leadership pieces on behalf of the executive (Forbes business council etc.) to strengthen brand reputation – in partnership with Region and Global Marketing, as well as Global Corporate Communications & Branding
  • As bandwidth allows, provide executive communications templates and strategic narrative support to Sales Managing Directors and Americas Chief Operations Officer
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in journalism, marketing or similar field
  • At least 5 years of experience involving corporate communications strategy & execution in a B2B environment
  • Expertise in PowerPoint

Benefits

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary: $100,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • This role is eligible for a 10% discretionary annual bonus
