Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Create and update menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize operational performance

- Develop and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability
- Stay current with culinary trends and foster innovation within the team
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a chef in a casual dining or similar environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive a team towards success
- Strong culinary knowledge with a focus on various cuisines
- Experience with menu development and cost control
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
