Executive Chef | Hotel & Convention Center

About the Role

We are seeking a bold and strategic Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations across our hotel and convention center. This high-visibility leadership role is for a chef who thrives in complex environments, inspires strong kitchen teams, and delivers memorable dining experiences at scale—from signature restaurant offerings to large-scale banquets and events. This role blends culinary creativity with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all culinary operations in a high-volume, complex hotel or resort environment.
• Manage large-scale banquet and catering operations alongside a full-service restaurant.
• Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, cost controls, inventory management, and procurement.
• Optimize cost-of-goods and understand hotel financials and general ledger processes.
• Ensure compliance with ServSafe Manager certification and Health Department regulations, including FDA Food Code standards.
• Develop and mentor culinary teams, build trust, and set a clear culinary vision.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of progressive Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in high-volume, complex hotel or resort environments.
• Proven success managing large-scale banquet and catering operations.
• ServSafe Manager certification (or ANSI-accredited equivalent).
