EXECUTIVE CHEF

About the role

Iconic NYC Steakhouse is searching for an Executive Chef to provide culinary direction and leadership for a team of 60+ cooks and chefs in preparing 700–1000 covers a day. Work closely with the Director of Operations in managing kitchen operations, training and supervising kitchen staff to create exceptional quality of food, while actively managing the financial goals of the kitchen operation, maintaining the kitchen service standards, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences. This role requires overseeing daily operations, addressing any kitchen issues promptly, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and service for 700–1000 covers per day
• Provide culinary direction and leadership to a team of 60+ cooks and chefs
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain exceptional food quality
• Work closely with the Director of Operations to manage financial goals and service standards
• Act as a strong expediter and trainer, ensuring smooth service and high standards
• Address kitchen issues promptly and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety
