Job Summary
The Executive Chef will lead the culinary management of food service operations, including inventory, ordering and receiving, menu development, catering oversight, and more. This role is responsible for the culinary cost controls and P&L accountability, as well as staffing and developing the culinary hourly teams and culinarians.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure exceptional culinary experiences and adherence to Parkhurst standards.
- Supervise and develop culinary hourly teams and culinarians.
- Communicate menu updates and train culinary staff in proper food production, service, and presentation techniques.
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years in culinary management.
- Skilled in menu development, inventory, P&L, and cost controls.
- Experience in delivering personalized experiences and addressing diverse dietary needs.
- Strong background in hiring, training, and mentoring culinary teams.
- Expertise in menu innovation, food safety, sanitation, and sustainability standards.
