Executive Assistant to Founder of Fast-growing Series A Startup

Responsibilities

  • Own the Founder's calendar with prioritization, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is optimized.
  • Serve as gatekeeper and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage inbox triage and draft responses on the Founder's behalf.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for board meetings, investor meetings, and key decisions.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, track action items, and ensure follow-through.
  • Plan and execute company events, off-sites, and team gatherings.
  • Cookbook complex travel arrangements across multiple time zones.
  • Led cross-functional projects to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in startups or fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs before being asked.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid context-switching.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Impeccable discretion with confidential information.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools.
  • Unflappable under pressure with strong attention to detail.
  • Curious and comfortable working with new tech, including AI tools.

Pay

160-180K DOE + benefits, bonus, and unlimited PTO.

Schedule

This role will begin primarily in-office, 5 days/week, based in NYC during the ramp-up period, and will then offer flexibility to work from home 1-2 days/week.
