Executive Assistant to CEO at Fast-Growing AI Infrastructure Startup

Responsibilities

  • Owning the CEO's calendar, proactively resolving conflicts and clustering meetings based on shifting priorities.
  • Managing the CEO's inbox with full visibility, contextualizing and prioritizing incoming email and drafting responses on his behalf where appropriate.
  • Providing light personal support, including scheduling personal appointments, coordinating deliveries, and booking personal travel.
  • Helping identify and set up a new San Francisco office, and holding interim office management responsibilities until a dedicated hire is made.
  • Serving as a proactive thought partner on how the CEO's time is spent, flagging conflicts and consequences before they become problems.
  • Building trust and operating with increasing autonomy over time as you learn the CEO's working style and preferences.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Extremely resourceful and able to operate with a high sense of urgency in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative without needing every detail prescribed.
  • Strong follow-through; able to close the loop on tasks and projects without requiring follow-up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong judgment on prioritization.
  • Comfortable staying aware of email outside of standard business hours, including occasional weekend check-ins.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and general productivity/scheduling tools.
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity startup environment.
