About the role
Capital One is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant who brings a high level of integrity, honesty, and accountability. This role requires adaptability, multitasking, and a collaborative approach to support an executive and their team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a gatekeeper and central point of contact for the executive
- Manage daily calendars, adjusting schedules as needed
- Arrange meetings and team events, including reservations for meeting rooms, catering, and audio/video services
- Answer incoming calls and provide support, taking detailed messages
- Organize travel arrangements and create expense reports
- Mentor other administrative professionals and maintain high standards of customer service
- Take on new responsibilities, provide solutions, and handle novel issues
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of administrative experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced environment
- At least 3+ years of calendar management supporting executives
- At least 3+ years of meeting and event planning experience
- Experience setting up video conference and Zoom/Skype technology for meeting users
- Experience planning ahead and managing time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent organizational skills
