Description Data Center Engineering (DCE) is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of DCE. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high volumes of complex, time-sensitive work. The successful candidate will be a proactive partner who anticipates needs, manages competing priorities, and enables the VP to focus on the most strategic aspects of the business. This role handles confidential information with the utmost integrity and interacts effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners across a global organization. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment where they own decisions, act on behalf of the leader, and continuously raise the bar on how the executive office operates. Key job responsibilities Manage a complex, high-volume calendar across multiple time zones — proactively resolving scheduling conflicts, prioritizing commitments, and protecting time for strategic focus. Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, agendas, and logistics in compliance with existing policies and procedures; adjust in real time to changing plans. Own the logistics of key team rhythms and events — staff meetings, business reviews, all-hands, offsites, and leadership summits — including materials, venues, and follow-ups. Act as a liaison and trusted point of contact between the VP and internal/external stakeholders, exercising sound judgment on prioritization and escalation. Partner with the leadership team and other EAs to coordinate cross-org initiatives and ensure seamless information flow. Support space planning, team onboarding logistics, and organizational operations as the team scales. Handle confidential and sensitive information (org changes, personnel matters, business strategy) with complete discretion. Continuously identify and implement improvements to executive-office processes, tools, and workflows. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
