About the role

The McKesson VP, Business Modernization & the VP, Business Program Lead ERP Modernization are seeking a highly experienced Executive Administrative Assistant. This role provides and/or leads a full range of administrative support to multiple Vice Presidents of the organization, exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. The Executive Assistant communicates directives and information from the VPs to executives, managers, and others in the organization and follows up on the status of assignments. They manage access to executives by screening emails and other communications, maintain files, records, calendars, and reporting, assist in arranging and planning travel, meetings, and tracking expenses, participate in the development and implementation of admin standards, policies, and practices for the organization, and assist with internal and external meeting preparation to include presentations and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to multiple Vice Presidents.
  • Extensive calendaring, on and off-site meeting planning, travel arrangements, and other core admin tasks.
  • Aid in internal and external meeting preparation to include presentations and reporting.
  • Utilize project management tools to monitor timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Collect, analyze, and format data for ad hoc and routine reports, as well as performance evaluations.
  • Make high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
  • Prepare and process expense reports.
  • Lead and/or manage special projects on behalf of the business unit.
  • Outline drafts and finalize correspondence.
  • Handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, Vocational Training, Professional Certification or Equivalent.
  • A degree is preferred.
  • Typically requires 6+ years of related work experience.
  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization to accomplish objectives.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prioritize and manage complex projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Investigate and solve a variety of issues by employing considerable judgment, initiative, and consistent follow-up for complete and quick resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to support executive-level stakeholders with professionalism, responsiveness, and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Self-starter with superb follow-up, attention to detail, and flawless execution.
  • Strong event planning and management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – proven ability to build successful and effective relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of technical proficiency and computer literacy with excellent command of technology and software particularly Microsoft Office Suite including – Excel (spreadsheets), Word (word processing), Outlook (scheduling), and PowerPoint (presentations).
  • Ability to work under general direction on multiple tasks with demanding and competing timelines.
  • Uses discretion and maintains the highest level of confidentiality.

Pay

$32.56 - $54.26 per hour

Schedule

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Irving Office, a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities. Our preferred candidate must live within a 50-mile radius of our Irving Office. Hybrid work environment with both remote work and required in-office presence as needed. Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.
