Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Customer Service & Economic Development for Entergy New Orleans.
- Manage calendars, scheduling communications, travel arrangements, departmental meetings, conference calls, meeting facilities, and catering.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents with minimal direction.
- Manage departmental administrative functions, including invoice processing, supply and equipment procurement, training records, expense reports, and payroll time entry.
- Handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Communicate and build effective working relationships with managers, employees, consultants, and other internal and external business contacts.
- Proactively communicate work issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Participate in special projects and other administrative initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Educational requirements: Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field. A four-year degree is not typically required.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work independently with minimal direction while collaborating effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
