Executive Assistant
About the role
Meet the Team Join Cisco's Infrastructure Engineering organization, where you'll support a Vice President and partner with engineering leaders across a global, collaborative team. Together, you'll help enable operational excellence and support the execution of key business priorities that drive Cisco's innovative networking technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex executive calendars, meeting logistics, and scheduling across multiple time zones to optimize executive productivity.
- Cook up domestic and international travel, prepare travel briefings and itineraries, and ensure seamless execution of executive engagements.
- Plan and execute executive meetings, team events, offsites, workshops, and speaking engagements by managing agendas, logistics, communications, and follow-up activities.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders while serving as a trusted point of contact for executive communications and confidential matters.
- Support operational excellence by managing expense reports, special projects, technology adoption, records management, and administrative best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of administrative support experience in a corporate environment.
- 2+ years of experience supporting Director-level or above leaders.
- Experience managing complex executive calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination across multiple time zones.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international travel, including itinerary management and travel logistics.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (such as Outlook, Teams, Webex, or similar platforms) to support executive operations.

- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and proactively solve problems.
- Experience planning executive events, offsites, and cross-functional meetings while building collaborative relationships across teams.

Benefits
At Cisco, we offer competitive compensation packages, including a starting salary range of $97,700.00 to $129,800.00 for this position in U.S. and/or Canadian locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:
- 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees.
- A paid day off for employee’s birthday.
- A paid year-end holiday shutdown.
- 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco.
- Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees.
- Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations).
- 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next.
- Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members.
Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer.
For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies. Employees On Sales Plans Earn Performance-based Incentive Pay On Top Of Their Base Salary, Which Is Split Between Quota And Non-quota Components, Subject To The Applicable Cisco Plan.
For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.
Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
