Executive and Equity Compensation Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement market leading equity compensation strategies tailored for a hyper-competitive, AI-driven talent market.
  • Deliver Meta’s annual equity and executive compensation cycles, using real-time data and insights to identify opportunities and guide strategy and implementation.
  • Lead the design and governance of Meta’s executive compensation structures for base pay and ongoing equity, ensuring rates continue to attract and retain industry leading talent and reflect evolving market conditions.
  • Conduct and review market research and benchmarking studies to ensure Meta’s executive and equity compensation programs remain at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Synthesize complex compensation metrics and global market trends into high-impact visualizations and narratives that drive alignment and streamline decision-making for senior leadership.
  • Create executive-level strategy materials (problem statements, options, analysis, recommendations), including materials for quarterly meetings with the Compensation, Nominating, and Governance Committee.
  • Maintain a high level of operational excellence by personally leading the execution of complex grant cycles, ensuring exceptional accuracy in high-stakes executive deliverables.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on executive and equity decisions across hiring, retention, promotions, and reorgs.
  • Create scalable decision frameworks for trade-offs.
  • Manage frequent, time-sensitive escalations and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders across Meta’s business, the People Team, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Drove adoption of AI-enabled solutions that improve data quality, automate manual work, and accelerate decision-making across executive/equity comp.
  • Evolve governance, tooling, and operating rhythms to enable faster, higher-confidence compensation decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, finance, analytics, or consulting, with some direct experience in Executive Compensation
  • Direct experience managing and implementing various equity compensation vehicles, including RSUs and stock options
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with model building, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • Mastery in data storytelling, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, high-impact narratives
  • Effective communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience influencing and partnering with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Executive compensation consulting experience
  • Tech industry experience
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, or building AI-supported solutions for HR or compensation processes
