The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.

About the role
Provides administrative support to a single executive(s) or faculty member(s) as assigned, utilizing independent judgement to ensure efficient operation of department.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes independent judgement to ensure efficient operation of department
- Works with FPI Corporate/PA policies, practices and procedures
- Prepares correspondence, reports and memos
- Responds to and screens telephone calls
- Collects, compiles, analyzes and displays complex information of a highly confidential nature
- Performs special projects requiring advanced level of skill and knowledge
- May directly supervise lower level administrative staff in the same department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; and/or combination of education/experience
- Five years related office experience with at least 2 years providing advanced level of administrative support preferred
- Accurate typing and data entry skills
- Excellent organization and communication (oral and written) skills
- High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and software used by the department
