- Supports the Department of Pediatrics
- Supports the Department of Anesthesia
- Supports multiple Nursing Directors
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in health care, business, or a related field is preferred or the equivalent experience.
- An organized and interpersonally savvy individual with demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced organization at an executive level.
- Experience in the healthcare field is strongly preferred with expertise in office-based information systems including Powerpoint.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, anticipate the needs of an executive, and meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple requests.
- Effective communicator with the ability to interact with medical staff, Trustees, and department managers as well as act as the key supporting staff member of the hospital’s leader.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and a variety of web applications.
- Ability to take independent responsibility for functions, with minimal supervision when trained.
