About the role

Within the Administration, Tax Compliance & Treasury function, we are seeking a resource to join the Excise Duty Team based in Milan/Rome. The role involves managing fiscal compliance related to the energy and gas sectors for various ENGIE Group companies subject to obligations with the Italian Customs Agency.

Responsibilities

  • Management of consumption declarations (Excise Duties):
    • Support in data collection and verification, and preparation of periodic declarations.
  • Management of monthly EE and GAS payments:
    • Monitoring payment flows, preliminary verification, and support in authorizations.
  • Communications with the Customs Agency:
    • Support in submitting declarations and managing monthly communications.
  • Management of requests for tax relief:
    • Documentary monitoring, verification of requirements, and updating of practices.
  • Fiscal customer care and interface with internal teams:
    • Responding to internal/external requests and coordinating with operational and IT teams.
  • Reporting and KPI monitoring:
    • Updating reports and monitoring the progress of activities.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in economics.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel).
  • Ability to work with multiple corporate systems (Document Management, CRM, Excise, Invoicing).
  • Ability to manage complex processes in multi-sector and multi-company organizations, handling large volumes of cases.
  • Precision, proactivity, relational skills, and adherence to deadlines.

Knowledge of excise regulations is a plus.

Pay

The annual gross salary (RAL) for this role ranges between €27,700 and €38,200, depending on experience and seniority level.
