GDIT is seeking an Exchange Engineer to support Government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. Bring your ideas and unique perspective to a people-focused, customer-centric environment delivering Cybersecurity Engineering Services.
About the role
As an Exchange Engineer, you will provide support and engineer solutions for email and email retention systems, creating a roadmap for the Enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, integrate, and maintain on- and off-premise Exchange Solutions
- Develop system architecture and system design documentation
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
- Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with Systems Engineering
- Support Exchange Edge installations and management
- Test and vet new hardware solutions
- Certify products for use in production networks following ATO and Project Management processes
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- US Citizenship
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certification, training, or work/military experience
- 10+ years of related experience
- Experience with PowerShell and Active Directory

Pay
Likely salary range: $140,250 – $189,750. Actual salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
