Exceptional Home Health Aides for Private Pay Cases

Summit Home Care, a family-owned and operated agency, is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for Live-In and hourly cases in its private pay division serving Long Island. Candidates must be able to speak English fluently. Having a car and being able to drive to patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to doctor's appointments
• Assist with errands, as needed
• Help clients with personal care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition

Requirements

• Active HHA Certification in the state of New York
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Recommendation Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Flu shot
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work
• Drug Screen no older than 6 months
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
