Responsibilities

  • Maintains operations to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Designs and optimizes production processes and workflows.
  • Safeguards product quality and ensures compliance with safety policies.
  • Reduces waste and resolves production-related issues.
  • Evaluates data to implement technological advancements in production processes.
  • Monitors and manages costs to minimize production issues.
  • Collaborates with other departments to establish design and production standards.
  • Develops inventory analysis and procurement plans to support production needs.
  • Plans facility layouts and staffing based on production operations.
  • Creates instructional manuals and process documents for production personnel.
  • Ensures workplace safety and addresses safety concerns.
  • Generates process reports and participates in mentoring programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering. Two to three years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment are required. Travel is expected to be 10-25%, and the work schedule is typically from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work outside these hours as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods is essential for this role.

Skills

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Lean principles are also beneficial.
