Job Summary
The EVS Technician PRN will maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition under the direction of the Environmental Services Director and Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute health care setting, preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized cleaning tasks involving heavy duty equipment and special cleaning equipment
- Operate low and high-speed buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.
- Use a variety of cleaning devices and solutions
- Support the distribution and pickup of biohazard barrels
- Distribute clean linen
- Pickup soiled linen and garbage as needed
