Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Diehl VW of Wooster is hiring experienced service technicians to perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturers' standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including, engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, air conditioning, braking, ect
• Explain mechanical diagnostic and required repairs in a non-technical manner to advisor or customer
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Requirements

• Valid drivers license (required)
• Manufacture specific training (Preferred)
• ASE certification (preferred)
• 6+ years mechanical experience (required)
• Clean driving record (required)
• The ability to work overhead and bent over for long periods of time (required)
