EVS Tech - Per Diem - NOC Shift

About the role

Under the supervision of the EVS shift supervisor, this position is responsible for daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, lobbies, and other ancillary spaces in the medical center in accordance with Environmental Services infection control practices and regulatory standards. The EVS Tech provides services to ensure the facility is aesthetically and hygienically clean and acceptable for our patients, families, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

Daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, lobbies, and other ancillary spaces in the medical center in accordance with Environmental Services infection control practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (preferred)
• Minimum two (2) years Housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality (preferred)
• Minimum three (3) years Frontline customer experience (preferred)

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read, write legibly, understand, and follow oral instruction
• Effective communication with department staff, hospital employees, physicians, patients and public
• Ability to work independently using good judgment and common sense
• Ability to apply disinfection cleaning practice as acquired through training
• Good customer/patient relations skills
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals when in use and secure from public contact
• Ability to protect confidential patient information
• Bilingual skills preferred

Pay

Compensation Range $23.00 - $33.25. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
