About the role

The Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) performs cleaning duties across the acute hospital and skilled nursing facility, including ancillary buildings, and receives training in all EVS areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of Acute Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility interior throughout, including patient rooms, appliances, out‑buildings, and laundry as needed.
• Cleaning hospital ancillary buildings.
• Receive training in all areas of EVS.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass required state and federal background checks (per NRS 449 and NRS 200.5091).

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry preferred.
• Experience in floor stripping and waxing preferred.

Skills

• Dependable.
• Able to work stand‑by.
• Multi‑task oriented.
• Ability to abide by cleaning procedures and policies.

Pay

$14.50/hour + shift differential.

Schedule

Part‑time: Sunday 9 am – 3 pm; Monday – Thursday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
