EVS Tech III
About the role
The EVS Tech is responsible for the general appearance of resilient floor and carpeted surfaces in various areas including corridors, patient rooms, public areas, offices, treatment rooms, and others as directed by the supervisor. This role involves performing terminal cleaning of operating rooms, cardiac cath labs, intensive care units, electrophysiology labs, labor & delivery rooms, recovery pre-holding, behavioral health units, or other assigned areas according to standard departmental procedures and hospital objectives.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of floors and carpets in various areas
- Performing terminal cleaning of specific high-risk areas
- Stripping and waxing of floors
- Completing established competencies within a designated introductory period
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Education: High School Graduate or GED, or 3 years of full-time work experience in Environment Services in lieu of education.
Minimum Experience: 3 years of cleaning experience in hospitality or healthcare setting and terminal cleaning experience.
