EVS Tech III

About the role

As an EVS Tech at Saint Luke's Hospital, you will be responsible for maintaining the general appearance of resilient floor and carpeted surfaces in corridors, patient rooms, public areas, offices, treatment rooms, and other designated areas. You will perform terminal cleaning of high-priority areas such as the Operating Room, Cardiac Cath Lab, Intensive Care Unit, Electro Physiology Labs, Labor & Delivery Rooms, Behavioral Health Units, and more, following standard departmental procedures and hospital objectives. Additional duties include stripping and waxing floors and completing established competencies within the designated introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resilient floor and carpeted surfaces in various hospital areas.
• Perform terminal cleaning in specialized units (e.g., Operating Room, ICU, Labor & Delivery).
• Strip and wax floors as required.
• Complete position-specific competencies within the introductory period.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED, or 3 years of full-time work experience in Environmental Services in lieu of education.
• 3 years of cleaning experience in a hospitality or healthcare setting.
• Terminal cleaning experience.
