Overview
The EVS Tech II plays a critical role in promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. This position performs routine cleaning tasks, ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The EVS Tech II is also responsible for timely room cleans in surgical, procedural, and specialty environments to meet facility needs. Additional EVS support functions may be required as needed.
Pay
Expected pay for this position is $17.66 - $19.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
Schedule
This is an hourly position.
Requirements
- 6 months of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of environmental services experience.
- Certification in one of the following: Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC), Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST), or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT).
