Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour, with actual pay determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position with a 2.25% 3rd shift differential.
About the role
The EVS Tech I plays an essential role in promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The EVS Tech I also ensures timely room cleans, particularly to support hospital patient throughput, and adjusts daily workflow or area assignments to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred Experience: 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services.
- Preferred Certification: Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST).
Pay
$17.00 - $18.89/hour (actual pay determined by experience, skills, and internal equity).
Schedule
