EVS Tech 3rd Shift

About the role

To assist Director in maintaining a high-quality standard by keeping him/her informed on the condition of all assigned areas and by training, supervising, and motivating the Environmental Services personnel to be sure all scheduled and are adhered to and completed.

Responsibilities

• Keep Director informed on the condition of all assigned areas
• Train, supervise, and motivate Environmental Services personnel
• Sure all scheduled tasks are adhered to and completed

Requirements

• Ability to read and write
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Some college experience preferred
• Some computer skills required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred within the housekeeping/Environmental Services field

Physical Requirements

• Able to bend, stretch, stoop, lift, and reach repeatedly
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Able to handle, operate full linen/trash carts and work with all required equipment, chemicals, supplies and any other necessary tools as required by the department supervisor
• Able to demonstrate satisfactory ability in all sensory areas such as hearing, sight, and vision
• Able to communicate verbally and nonverbally to meet all other job requirements effectively
• Cleared by Employee Health prior to working in patient areas
