EVS Shift Supervisor

About the role

In this role, you will direct personnel engaged in maintaining assigned areas of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local requirements and as directed by the Director and Operations Manager, to ensure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times. You will complete all work schedules for the area and directly supervise 15–20 FTEs. You will interview candidates for available positions in the department and be responsible for creating and posting departmental work schedules. You will maintain productivity of the assigned unit to meet the hospital and corporate financial goals and ensure adherence to policy and procedures. You will also assist, when necessary, your peer’s department and area of responsibility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent GED required
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in a housekeeping department, in a health-related facility
• 2 years Supervisor experience in a health-related facility preferred
