EVS Porter/Dual Rate Pool Attendant - Full Time (Tropicana Laughlin)

Job Summary

The EVS Porter plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our properties clean, organized, and safe for guests and team members. This position supports the Environmental Services (EVS) team by maintaining equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring both public and back-of-house areas remain free of debris.

Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, and maintain all machinery used by the EVS department
• Label, sort, wrap, and prepare cleaning equipment, utensils, and chemicals for daily use
• Aid with receiving and organizing EVS and internal maintenance deliveries
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by addressing spills, debris, or hazards as they arise
• Notify EVS Attendants or Utility Porters when major spills or incidents occur
• Keep both interior and exterior property areas free of litter and debris
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the EVS Manager

Pool Responsibilities

• Enforces all pool policies to guests to ensure safety
• Maintain all areas surrounding the pool to ensure cleanliness
• Issues towels to guests
• Stocks pool hut/pool supply room
• Removes dirty pool towels throughout their shift
• Continuously walks through station to ensure cleanliness and safety of area
• Performs additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of detailed floor or commercial cleaning experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Ability to effectively communicate in English with guests and team members
• Read and write simple lists and understand verbal instructions
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be available for scheduled shifts
• Must be 21 + to work in this position
