EVS Manager- Bilingual Variable Shift Schedule

About the Role

We are seeking a Bilingual Environmental Services Manager to oversee the Environmental Services department at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL. You will manage associates, serve as a liaison between hospital departments, and ensure the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection process, including interviewing candidates as needed.
• Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations while ensuring operational needs are met.
• Assign personnel to work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment use.
• Ensure staff receives proper orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates as necessary, following progressive disciplinary guidelines.
• Prepare disciplinary and variance reports, conduct follow-up investigations, and report findings to the Department Director.
• Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
• Demonstrate and promote the company’s culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Meet performance plans through quality leadership.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Previous Environmental Services (EVS) experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (with exceptions for legally required medical or religious reasons).
