EVS Floor Attendant

About the Role

The Floor Attendant, under the direction of the Public Space Supervisor, is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public and employee areas on the casino floor
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals
• Climb up to a 6ft ladder as needed
• Push cleaning carts and operate vacuums
• Conduct yourself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida and departmental policies and procedures
• Provide outstanding guest service
• Adhere to high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) is preferred
• Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals is preferred
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills
• Must be able to climb up to a 6ft ladder
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have high standards of cleanliness
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must frequently stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Must meet specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Duties are performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment
• Constant exposure to the general public and excessive noise
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell

Appearance Guidelines

How we look and appear to each guest provides an important impression of our Company. Non-permitted guidelines include:

• Unnatural hair color
• Visibly explicit or offensive tattoos
• Facial tattoos
• Ear piercings that alter the shape and/or size of the ear
• Any visible body or facial piercings other than two (2) piercings per ear
• Facial hair longer than ½ inch in length or mustaches that extend past ¼ inch below the upper lip
