About the role

EVS Assistant, Extra On‑Call Reporting to the Supervisor Environmental Services*, Environmental Services, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, aiding in the prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria and odor, and sustaining an acceptable aseptic condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate and follow written instructions in a fast‑paced, team environment is required.
• Ability to perform basic cleaning functions including the operation of a wet/dry vacuum and shampooer is required.
• Knowledge of handling procedures for infectious and hazardous waste is required.
• Experience in housekeeping in an acute care setting is preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.65
