EVS Assistant - 3rd Shift, Environmental Services, EOC-0, Overnight

About the role

The EVS Assistant / Extra on-call positions are part-time roles that rotate shifts including rotating shift, on-call, and 3rd shift. The primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness, prevent cross-contamination, control bacteria and odor, and sustain an acceptable aseptic condition.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas

• Sustain an acceptable aseptic condition

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate and follow written instructions in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to perform basic cleaning functions including the operation of a wet/dry vacuum and shampooer
• Knowledge of handling procedures for infectious and hazardous waste
• Experience in housekeeping in an acute care setting is preferred

Pay

$23.00 - $28.65 per hour
