EVS Aide PD

Job Summary

The EVS Aide cleans and services building areas, removes non-medical waste and medical waste according to established procedures. Performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.

Experience

• Previous customer service experience
• Preferred: 6 months housekeeping with floor care experience

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or two additional years of experience in lieu of education

Special Skills

• Able to operate heavy floor machines
• Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
• Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
• Collaborate and accept direction
