EVS Aide

Job Summary

As our Environmental Services Technician (EVS) Tech, you will provide critical environmental services and meticulous attention to cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Expertly clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces
• Manage waste disposal
• Operate specialized equipment
• Meticulously follow infection control protocols to maintain impeccable standards
• Demonstrate ability to assess/interpret age specific data
• Encourage involvement of patient/family/significant others in decision-making related to plan of care
• Perform cleaning and/or isolation procedures of patient care areas
• Prepare rooms for new occupants and follow standard precautions
• Complete high dusting of all ceiling objects, wall objects, and horizontal surfaces following departmental procedures
• Collect and dispose of trash and linen; reline containers and ensure cleanliness of containers

Job Requirements
