Responsibilities

  • Help shape company strategy by providing perspective on market trends, client needs, and growth opportunities in the technology sector
  • Define and execute the strategy for the Technology business, aligned to overall company priorities
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans, including go-to-market approach, capability investments, and service delivery models
  • Own sales performance, including pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and conversion of key opportunities
  • Drive sustainable growth through a balanced strategy of new business development, client expansion, and repeat business
  • Oversee pricing, resourcing, and delivery approaches to ensure strong financial performance and high-quality client outcomes
  • Partner with business development teams to identify and convert new growth opportunities
  • Lead large, strategic proposals and client pursuits, ensuring clear and compelling value propositions
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key clients, building long-term relationships and expanding share of business
  • Collaborate with internal experts to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions for clients
  • Lead teams delivering custom quantitative and qualitative research programs
  • Create alignment across teams to ensure consistent execution, quality, and collaboration
  • Ensure research quality, methodological rigor and actionable client recommendations
  • Act as a visible industry leader, representing the firm in the Technology sector
  • Build and maintain a strong external network of senior client leaders and industry stakeholders
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to bring innovative, differentiated offerings to market
  • Identify emerging client and market needs and translate them into new services and solutions
  • Advanced custom research methodologies, AI-enabled insights, advanced analytics and innovative approaches to solving client business questions
  • Work with internal teams to scale technology-enabled delivery and improve efficiency

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within a custom market research, insights consulting, or strategic research organization
  • Demonstrated success leading a Technology, TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications), or B2B Technology research practice
  • Deep expertise in custom qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and insight-led consulting
  • Proven experience managing a P&L and growing revenue within a market research or insights business
  • Established relationships with senior decision-makers across leading technology companies and a track record of winning and expanding custom research engagements
  • Experience serving global technology clients—including organizations such as Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, NVIDIA, Tesla, or comparable technology companies—is strongly preferred
  • Experience gained within firms such as Escalent, Ipsos, Kantar, Gartner, IDC, Forrester, NielsenIQ, Circana, Hall & Partners, C Space, or similar research and insights organizations is highly desirable
  • Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in software development, SaaS product management, engineering, or enterprise software leadership without substantial market research and insights consulting experience are not the intended fit for this role
