About the role
The EVM Project Cost Analyst will drive EVM Operations from the program finance cost control perspective, facilitating program cost and schedule inputs within the EVM Cost Tool, Deltek Cobra.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the Project Scheduler and work closely with a variety of project management personnel to facilitate effective and efficient EIA-748 caliber EVM Cost and Schedule Data Integration, Validation, and Analytics.
- Routine operations include supporting program planning and startup activities, establishing budget targets with CAMs/PMs, creating program Control Account and Work Package structure, importing schedule and resource data into EVM Cost Tool, facilitating monthly EVM Business Rhythm activities, assessing Estimate at Completions (EACs), conducting data validation and DCMA EV Compliance Metrics (DECM) checks, supporting Variance Analysis, and instilling appropriate change management and control principles.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional program finance or cost control role.
- Experience on a program with EIA-748 Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and IPMR or IPMDAR Deliverables.
- Experience with EVM software applications such as Deltek Cobra.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform detailed cost analysis and variance reporting.
- Ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Pay strict attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor's degree.
Skills
- Experience with large-scale projects in industries such as defense, aerospace, or IT.
- Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs).
- Experience with DCMA EV Compliance Metrics (DECM).
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS).
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PMP or EVP certification.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
