EVM Finance Analyst IV

About the role

The EVM Finance Analyst IV is responsible for managing and analyzing Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to ensure project budgets and schedules are met. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EVM models to track project progress and identify potential issues early.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights into project performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and project objectives.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on project status and financial health.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to EVM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance or related field.
• Proven experience in EVM methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.

Qualifications

• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of PMI (Project Management Institute) standards and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Understanding of budgeting and cost control techniques.
• Knowledge of Gantt charts and other project planning tools.

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
