Evergreen Court - Certified Nursing Assistant / Caregiver (Part Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Part Time AM shift Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Assisted Living team at Evergreen Court, a Transforming Age community. This role pays $23.00 - $26.00 an hour DOE.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow the resident’s individually designed ADL directives.
• Makes accurate chart notes daily on residents’ conditions, and chart on flow sheets and report any changes to supervisor.
• Assists residents with bathing, use of facilities, oral hygiene, grooming, nail clipping, and dressing.
• Assists in serving meals, leading and attending activities.
• Remain current with all changes regarding residents and department operations; check schedules and activities to assist residents as necessary.
• Assist in the admission and discharge of residents.
• Record vital signs and conditions on a scheduled basis or as needed.
• Provide verbal and physical assists to residents in transfers/ambulation.
• Answer calls for assistance promptly and report any possible safety hazards.
• Maintain neat and clean work areas.
• Ensure assigned residents are provided an opportunity to participate in social, physical, creative, and spiritual activities of their choice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training.
• A current CNA/HCA license in good standing.
• A current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• A current WA state Food Handler's card or willingness to obtain.
• The ability to read/write/speak sufficiently in English to complete responsibilities of the position.
• Completion of DSHS background check, and other pre and post-employment tasks such as fingerprint, and TB 2-Step test as required by state/local guidelines.
