About the role

If you're interested in getting real, hands-on experience in marketing and events, this is a great place to start. As our Field Marketing & Events Intern, you'll support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events including our national customer conference, OpenGov Conference (OGC).

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of events, including tradeshows and OGC.
  • Cook up logistics, manage vendor relationships, and assist with on-site event operations.
  • Help run field marketing campaigns focused on brand awareness and pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success to keep messaging aligned.
  • Aid in creating materials for events and campaigns.
  • Track event performance data and help identify opportunities to improve.
  • Bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • AI curious
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • An interest in events, marketing, and creating good experiences for customers.

  • Hands-on experience across events and field marketing.
  • Mentorship and day-to-day guidance from experienced marketers.

  • Compensation: Chicago, IL: $21 - $21 per hour.
  • On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
