About the role
If you're interested in getting real, hands-on experience in marketing and events, this is a great place to start. As our Field Marketing & Events Intern, you'll support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events including our national customer conference, OpenGov Conference (OGC).
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of events, including tradeshows and OGC.
- Cook up logistics, manage vendor relationships, and assist with on-site event operations.
- Help run field marketing campaigns focused on brand awareness and pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success to keep messaging aligned.
- Aid in creating materials for events and campaigns.
- Track event performance data and help identify opportunities to improve.
- Bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- AI curious
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- An interest in events, marketing, and creating good experiences for customers.

- Compensation: Chicago, IL: $21 - $21 per hour.
- On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
